My friend, Beth Odets, lights the Sabbath Candles at the SL Synagogue on Nessus. I’ve never experienced the lighting of the candles for Sabbath before. I am intruiged at how people are finding their way of worshiping in the metaverse and it effecting their real lives. I am not Jewish, but the ability to be present at a ceremony such as this was a wonderful experience. The SL Jewish Community is very vibrant and I’m glad that I have friends (Crap Mariner) that have introduced me to their place of residence…now I have friends there. 🙂 Yay!!!
