SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11th VETERANS DAY…4:30-7:30pmSLT on MENORCA broadcasting by Phreak Radio
I will be performing from Jittery Joe’s Coffeeshop in Snellville, GA (atlanta area) along with Glen Pridgen and Gerrit Van Vranken….both of which are Veterans of the Armed Services.
THIS WILL BE A NO POLITICS CONCERT!!! STRICTLY TO HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED IN THE ARMED FORCES!! REGARDLESS OF YOU POSITION…MEN AND WOMEN PUT THEIR LIVES IN DANGER EVERY DAY AND THEY DESERVE TO BE HONORED…MEN AND WOMEN DEAL WITH THE LASTING EFFECTS OF SERVICE TO THEIR COUNTRY ON A DAILY BASIS AND DESERVE TO BE HONORED FOR THEIR CALL OF DUTY. NO POLITIKING OR SOAPBOXING ALLOWED!! THANK YOU.
With that being clarified, we will be accepting Donations for an organization known as T.A.P.S.: Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors which benefits the family of those military service men and women who have paid the ultimate price in serving our country. Please visit their website to find out more about all the various programs that this organization provides for those military families.
**These are the shirts that we’ll be giving those inworld who are able to Donate to TAPS along with Yellow Ribbons and Armbands…I’m hoping to get some literature to include in a Notecard with information about the organization. On the TAPS website there are magazines and flyers I’m printing off for the Joe’s show to give people information who come in for Java to let them know what we’re doing.
**Unfortuantely, the shirts, ribbons, and armbands are NOT available in the PHYSICAL WORLD, they are only available for online use within the Second Life Community. I am so sorry for any misunderstanding. I’ll try to save up and see about having some made by Memorial Day**
Thank you to Slim Warrior for HOSTING in world on MENORCA…be sure to check out her music on MySpace…just click on her name to listen.
Thank you to Cainin Griffith for making the Ribbons and Armbands and Phoenix Psaltery for designing the ad for the M2 which I used in designing the shirts.
Looking forward to Saturday….and celebrating and honoring those who serve and have served our country.
